Working to Raise Awareness for Pediatric Patients in the State of Nevada

Cancer is diagnosed in about 400,000 kids per year. It’s a global problem that requires global cooperation.

Our mission is to improve the lives of pediatric cancer patients, and their families, by supporting them emotionally and financially, while providing opportunities to connect our community.

4% is not enough.

Everyday, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer, the leading cause of death in children in America. However, only 4% of government funding is allocated for research into pediatric oncology.

We need change.

Treatment for pediatric cancer averages around $900,000. One in four families lose more than 40% of their annual household income as a result of childhood cancer treatment-related work disruption, while one in three families face having to quit work or having to change jobs. Cancer changes lives.

Cancer Kids First Nevada is an official state chapter of Cancer Kids First, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. EIN #84-3948071
